ONRSR has partnered with the ARA and industry representatives to develop the National Rail Safety Data Strategy with the aim to deliver a relevant, consistent and high-quality national rail safety dataset that is readily available to stakeholders to make rail safety decisions.
Input from the wider rail industry on the proposed changes to what is reported and when will be critical to the success of any new dataset. A consultation session covering these issues was recently held in Brisbane and further face-to-face sessions are currently scheduled for:
To register to attend one of these sessions please contact Tania Crisci on (08) 8406 1552 or via email at Tania.Crisci@onrsr.com.au
Online information sessions will be held for operators in Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia who are unable to take part in the face-to-face workshops. Please note that while dates are being finalised, these will take place during November. Should travel restrictions in these jurisdictions change in the meantime, face-to-face sessions will be held.
