Surrender of registration

A registered rail infrastructure manager of a private siding (registered person) may surrender their registration, or a private siding under their registration.

The registered person must notify ONRSR in writing of their intent to surrender at least 28 days prior to the intended surrender date. Before a surrender can proceed, ONRSR must be satisfied that the proposed arrangements in regard to the surrender do not present a safety risk to other rail transport operators or the public.

Rail infrastructure managers seeking to surrender their registration, or a private siding under their registration, are advised to contact ONRSR early in the process to clarify the requirements.

For all enquiries relating to surrender of registration, please contact operations@onrsr.com.au or phone 08 8406 1500.
