The Operations Forum aims to give the Perth Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR) and representatives of the rail industry the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss Western Australian operational rail safety and regulation issues.
The forum typically takes place over the course of a day, with the first half of the day devoted to issues of interest and of local relevance. This takes the form of presentations, panel discussions and/or interactive workshops.
ONRSR then presents information about national regulation activities, which includes time for questions from attendees.
